Mom said I should write... so I'm going to try to give a little of my perspective here.
My hands are swollen like little microwaved marshmellows, I bruise so easy and can be knocked off balance by a sneeze from someone else. All of this should return back to normal soon. I'm hoping as I start walking the halls more that I'll slowly regain my strength.
My pain is like wearing a really bad bra that I can't take off. My skin feels very tight where the incision is on my sternum and also where the 2 top remaining chest tubes are. They bottom 2 tubes have been removed and I have two stitches instead.
We've had communication issues on the floor here, but the overall care is good. If people would just do as I asked, life would be good :) Hope all is well back home. I miss you all and we'll have to have a big 'ol party when I get back!! Love you!

Hey Jen
Just one question how crazy is Ding making you ? : )
You look fabulous in the most recent photo ! The girls and I check your blog several times a day. I think Mary and I are planning a road trip to see you the first part of March. Glad to see you are now posting ! Talk to you soon ! Dong
You know - I couldn't agree more... If people would just do as I asked, life indeed, would be great!!! I can't tell you enough how much being able to read moment by moment has meant to both Michael and I. We check your blogs a few times each day and are so happy that you are posting again. Know that we think of you often and are continuing to pray for each of you individually - And girl... You are looking FABULOSO!!! We love you guys!
Hey Jen:
Good to see you back on the blog again. Talked to your dad tonight. Asked him if he gave Kelly the car keys to get around and he said he hadn't completely lost his mind yet. lol Take care. We are so proud of you.
Hey Jen
You look and sound like you're doing fantastic! We are so happy for you and your family. Just know our thoughts and prayers continue. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to that big party when your feeling well!
Hi Jen!! It is so awesome to get news straight from you!! The incision does not sound like fun. Maybe we can have a bra burning celebration when you get home in honor of that feeling being gone :o) Also I think that you and I should open up our own hospital cuz I know exactly what you mean with the "failure to comunicate" with the nurses and doctors. They don't know that Emla cream is white gold to us lol Well it is so good to hear from you!! Take Care ~ Lisa Mulroy

Hi me,I see you are doing pretty well.I have sent other messages to you but they never got thru exceot the first one. I sent the last one and told your Dad when I was in Med school the first thing they taught us was to give all lung transplant patients a BigMac fries and a shake. So I told him to get out there and get that so you heal faster and get home quicker. We all miss your smiling face and always up attitude. In the blog that did not get there I made some references to the people around.Caroline is the Angle of Irongate,Cameron is the Saint of Irongate so that must leave your Mom and Dad the Gods of Irongate. You are very lucky to have them all.
Of course prays continue and I know you are getting a lot of them.We will contiue until my friend GOD says all right all ready I here you relax I'll take care of it.
You look great and we all love you.
